Tuesday June 21, 2016 Hi Everyone, Jim and I arrived in Moab yesterday. Again we have a beautiful view with Mountains all around us. We went to Arches National Park today. We were able to see Balancing Rock, Sand Dune Arch, Broken Arch and Delicate Arch Viewpoint. I am proud of Jim and I as the walk to the Delicate Arch Viewpoint is considered a difficult trail and is 3 miles long a lot of it up hill again. Even though Jim and I were huffing and puffing so were the 10 year olds. The elevation change 480 feet and part of the climb is on sliderock. We plan to go back tomorrow and see was we missed today. We will leave early with plenty of water as right now is 112 outside. Again our pictures can't explain the beauty we have seen. The geologist are still studying this area as fossils are still being found in this area. I do admire the people that work at the National Parks. Even though Jim and I have a senior pass to get into all the National Parks we always leave a donation. As you might not be aware of our National Parks are underbudget by our government. The people that work for the National Park Service do love what they do it is too bad our government is underbudgeting our National treasures. This year the National Park Service is celebrating 100 years. If you can visit a National Park this year. Having fun, Jim and Debbie
