Tuesday July 6, 2016 Hi Everyone, We have been having a great time and I have again neglect my blog. We were in Billings, MT for two days. We ran some errands and Jim played golf. We spent Friday July 1 until today with my cousin David and his lovely wife Tina. David had a pacemaker implanted the Wednesday before we got there so we helped him around their place as he was not allowed to lift over 10 lbs or raise his arm above his head. His hobby is making leather chaps and saddles among other things. He and Tina are doing a rodeo the week of July 15th so Jim and I boxed his inventory and helped him do some leather work which Jim and I both found interesting. Dave and Tina also have a mule named Taco, a mini horse named Speed and her baby Coffee, and three dogs Dude, Rosie and Buddy (Rosie and Buddy will have babies in about 3 months). I loved feeding the mule and horses their alfalfa treats and enjoyed watching the boys next door try to ride the mule bear back. Saturday we drove to pick up two horses and take them out to David's son house Hal and his wife Tiffany's house which was about 2 hours from where Dave lives. Hal runs and manages a ranch with 425 head of cattle and 1,200 acres of hay that he grows and bales. It is a huge job running a ranch and I don't think our farmers get enough appreciation for all they do. Sunday we went to see Team roping competition which was pretty cool. Tina's cousin and her husband both rope. Monday we drove to Red Lodge, Mt for a good old, hometown parade and rodeo. Jim and I had never been to a rodeo so we were very excited. A big thank you to my cousin and his wife for buying the tickets and letting us experience this great American past-time. David and I had not seen each other in about 53 years so it was hard to say good-bye for now today. We are now in Spearfish, SD. We were here in 2014 and loved it and will venture out and see things we missed last time. Until the next time, Jim and Debbie
